Integrated vocational training preparation (IBA)

During the one-year vocational training preparation course, you will be specifically prepared for a career in the commercial field. In addition to the general education subjects, you will receive theoretical and practical instruction in a commercial environment.

Interdisciplinary learning area (GK/EK):

• German
• English
• Mathematics
• WiSo (economic and social studies)
• Sport/Health Promotion

Vocational learning area:

• Work experience incl. TV/IV (text and information processing)
• Economics
• Accounting
• Professional customer/internship preparation

During your one-year training at GPB College, our teachers will prepare you precisely for the examination requirements. Individual exam preparation is also an important part of this.

Depending on performance, the BBR, eBBR or MSA can be obtained after one year.

During the training year, you will complete two internships of 4 weeks in a company of your choice. During this time you can consolidate and deepen your acquired knowledge. A job coach and career assistant are available to help you choose the right company and the right application.

Compulsory schooling must be fulfilled (10 years)
