Commercial Assistant with foreign languages

In this training you will learn a total of three foreign languages. However, you will not only be trained in language acquisition, but will also acquire the respective cultural and country knowledge through our native-speaking teachers. In addition to the foreign languages, you will of course also acquire solid business knowledge and office skills.

Language competence (approx. 50%):

• 1st foreign language: English
  Grammar, translation, correspondence, interpreting, cultural- &und regional studies
• 2nd foreign language: French
• 3rd foreign language: Spanish, Chinese, Japanese or Korean

Business management competence (approx. 50%):

• German/professional communication
• Writing and secretarial practice
• IV/TV (information and word processing)
• Economics and Accounting

Additional qualifications (optional):

The PLUS of the training includes additional foreign language certificates which you can acquire within the training period.

During your two-year training at GPB College, our teachers will prepare you precisely for the requirements of the state examination. The four-week company internship and the individual exam preparation are also an important part of this.

In the 1st year of training, you will complete a company internship lasting 4 weeks at work in Germany or abroad. During this time you can consolidate and deepen your acquired knowledge. A job coach and career assistant are available to help you choose the right company and the right application.

Good previous knowledge of English (A2/B1)

Costs: 175 EUR per month (various financing models)

Support via BAföG possible. In the 2nd year of training, an educational loan from the KfW can be applied for. Further information is available at our information events.
