Course description

You can realize your passion for technology during your training as an IT systems management assistant. You will advise customers in the planning and acquisition of IT products and convince them with your expert knowledge. You will also identify IT solutions from a technical and business management perspective. The tasks are therefore very diverse. The school education is both an apprenticeship in the IT industry and a commercial apprenticeship.

Occupation-related subjects in modular instruction:

  • KSK (commercial management and control)
  • KSV (commercial correspondence)
  • IV/TV (information and word processing)
  • ITS (Information and Telecommunication Systems)
  • EVA (application development)
  • Business Administration

General education subjects in block teaching:

  • German
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • WiSo (economic and social studies)
  • Sport/Health Promotion

The examination to become an IT systems management assistant is divided into a practical and a theoretical part.

Additional qualifications (optional):

During the training period you can acquire additional IT certificates (Microsoft, Linux, CISCO).

Why GPB College?

During your three-year training at GPB College, our teachers will prepare you precisely for the requirements of the chamber examination. The ten-month company internship and the individual exam preparation are also an important part of this.

Internship

You will complete an internship with a duration of 10 months in a company of your choice. During this time you can consolidate and deepen your acquired knowledge. A job coach and career assistant are available to help you choose the right company and the right application.
