When you think about your vocational training, do you picture the classic dual path: training at a company combined with vocational school? Around 66% of trainees choose this route (see chart). Many hope to land a permanent job at their training company afterward.
But did you know that 31% of trainees opt for school-based vocational training instead? And it comes with real advantages: you can often earn a higher-level school certificate, focus on what truly interests you, and you’re not tied to the requirements of a specific company. On top of that, you’ll enjoy more vacation time and receive greater support from your teachers.
Interestingly, school-based training is more commonly chosen by women, while men tend to prefer company-based routes. At GPB College, however, the ratio is balanced. Whether you’re more academically or practically inclined – we offer the right path for you.
