Do an IT traineeship in Berlin

Whether it is the traineeship Electrotechnical Assistant or IT Management Assistant with Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) qualification, you will have the best chances on the job market!

Electrotechnical Assistants are among the state-certified traineeship professions in Germany. Among other things, you will learn how to plan and install networks and how to configure and maintain them. In this way you will create customer-specific solutions. In addition to the normal traineeship, you can gain additional qualifications: By obtaining internationally recognised certificates such as Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, Oracle you can improve your chances of being taken on by a large company.

IT Management Assistants end their traineeship with a Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) qualification. You will learn how information systems and telecommunications systems are planned and implemented. Furthermore, you will advise customers regarding the purchasing of hardware and software solutions. Students with the school leaving certificate "erweiterter Hauptschulabschluss" can obtain the school leaving certificate "mittlerer Schulabschluss" at the end of the traineeship if they successfully pass this Chamber of Commerce and Industry traineeship.

Why GPB College?

As part of our IT traineeships at GPB College in Berlin we offer the students the opportunity to obtain various IT certificates. These certificates represent an added value of the traineeship and offer a competitive advantage when looking for a job later.

On your way towards your professional life, when looking for an internship and also during the internship, you will receive support from a job coach. As preparation, you will use the so-called career assistant, a virtual assistant on the learning platform Moodle.

The teaching takes place in small groups and therefore offer more room for individual help. If you nevertheless need more support on certain topics, you can use part of the holidays to make use of our additional services free of charge (tutoring, job application training, language courses and much more).

Other extra-curricular activities such as sports days, class trips and visits to trade fairs and events make life at our college attractive.
