Organize, plan, evaluate

Commercial assistants in the field of business administration plan and organize for the company, act as contact persons for customers and are responsible for the smooth running of tasks in the commercial area.
They ensure the smooth running of organizational tasks in commercial functional areas of companies, participate in the annual financial statements and cost and performance accounting and evaluate data for business practice with Microsoft Office, SAP, Datev, Lexware.

In human resources, they prepare duty rosters and organizational charts, manage personnel files and assist in personnel recruitment and remuneration.

Training programme

The traineeship takes two years, including a three-month internship. Lessons start at 8am and finish at 3pm. At a minimum, on four days you will learn a specific topic from learning modules. This study in teaching blocks enables you to follow a thread in your learning. The essential teaching blocks encompass economic studies, organisational and human resource studies, accounting, as well as word processing. Once a week you will be taught additional subjects such as physical education, Business English, German, mathematics, economics and social studies. Further additional educational offers include SAP, free holiday courses like Excel and Business English, also tutoring is offered on a voluntary basis in addition to regular classes.   

After the two-year traineeship with us, you will also have the opportunity to attain the Entrance Qualification for Universities of Applied Science and Arts as part of an additional one year of training. This would form the foundations for studies of your choice at a University of Applied Science and the Arts.

The basic requirement for this trainineeship is a Secondary School Certificate (MSA) or equivalent.

Career prospects

After the traineeship you will essentially be able to work in any economic sector. Both, medium-sized companies as well as large corporations require people who are able to tie up loose ends. Your wide-ranging business and human resource training provides you with major career flexibility and consequently a great choice with regard to career areas.

After a probabtion period, you will be able to quickly progress from assisting management to becoming the right hand of the boss or department head. Promotion prospects after your traineeship exist among others as:
