Class trip to Edinburgh

Our KAFS 18 went on a journey of discovery and spent eventful days.

On Tuesday our KAFS 18 and 3 teachers made their way to Edinburgh in Scotland. About 2 hours before the departure they met at the airport to fly together to Scotland.

Arrived in Edinburgh the rooms in the hostel have been inspected and the beds have been chosen. Before we started cooking together. On the plan was Thai curry. After all had finished eating, the activities for the next days were discussed in a pleasant get-together.

We started the day with a common breakfast in the hostel. Afterwards everyone went on a journey of discovery and explored Edinburgh.

On Wednesday we visited the "National Museum of Scotland", the "Holyrood Palace" and climbed the "Arthur´s Seat" and enjoyed the magnificent view over the city of Edinburgh.

The Thursday morning schedule included a visit to the Scottish National Gallery and a Harry Potter scavenger hunt. In the afternoon you could choose between the visit of the "Rosslyn Chapel", "Museum People's Story" and "Museum of Scottish History".

Despite the rainy weather, we spent a wonderful time in Edinburgh and so the days flew by and the departure day was just around the corner.

We have captured exciting insights into the journey in our picture gallery.
